During the peak period of Lady Gaga Monster of fame Back in the late 2000s, I was a high school boy and went all out. Just like the Mother Monster herself, I am proud of myself wearing behemoths, even black clumsy costumes. You simply can’t catch the bright colors I was wearing. During the 2010 Superstar’s Monster Ball Tour, I clearly remember buying an old-fashioned oversized cross necklace that paired with my black skinny jeans and mesh shirt. At the time, Gaga’s avant-garde approach was to shake the height of the colorless wardrobe. Now, more than ten years later, we are So here I’m back.
Gaga has been busy promoting her new album for the past month, confusionwhich was released on Friday – Superstars bring a new era of fashion. Well, this is not a new era, but a return to her signature all-black seasoning. This time, this is the era completely fresh and modern. Just this week, Gaga had dinner in New York City with her fiancé Michael Polansky, wearing a cargo leather jacket from Phoebe Philo, an invisible hygiene designer who is currently obsessed with all fashion. Last month, Gaga was also found wearing a long button coat that she paired with a long and spacious gown.
Gaga’s approach to darker, more romantic outfit aesthetics also extends to her recent red carpet moments. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, the singer took a step forward and wore a Victorian-style jacket and giant ball skirt made by Australian Tevanis designer Samuel Lewis. The approach about her all-black seasoning is haunting, yet stylish. It proves that you can make a statement and have a 100-level AURA point without having to sway bold printing or flashy colors. Sometimes, less Way More. It’s also one of the ways we’ve been seeing on the fall 2025 runway this stylish month: Tags like Alaïa, Prada, and Jil Sander have been zeroed in, and designs have abandoned bold tones and focus on interesting textures or fabrications.
