Best Health Tracker: Ula Ring 3
Why we like it: I’ve tried a lot of fitness trackers, but I tend to not stick to a watch or band for a long time. But, over the past three years, I’ve worn the Ula ring – I’m totally obsessed. Its sleep tracking features are excellent, it carefully measures my stress levels and activities throughout the day, and I personally like how it measures the menstrual cycle phases. And don’t just say my words: “I’m a big fan of Oura ring because it provides a holistic approach to health, not just reaching one step or burning calories,” said Louis Chandler, Alo Moves and Alo Health Club trainer. “For my clients, especially those with busy schedules, the URA ring helps ensure that every workout, rest day and recovery strategy is consistent with everything the body needs.”
Best Hybrid Health & Fitness Tracker: Garmin Venu 3S smartwatch
Why we like it: The Garmin Venu 3s is perfect for anyone looking for a slightly stylish, everyday meeting viewing. In addition to fitness tracking, this watch has a wide range of unique features designed to support overall well-being, such as: stress tracking, women’s health tracking, guided meditation, jet lag consultation, fitness age (measure you compared to your actual age), Garmin Coach, Garmin Coach, on-screen workouts, and more.
Best for discrete tracking: Ultrahuman Ring Air
Why we like it: A few years ago, Ultrahuman Ring caused a lot of excitement, mainly because it doesn’t require a subscription (like the OURA Ring). It also has many health and fitness features designed to help you achieve your goals such as: sleep analysis, recovery assessment and in-app performance coaching.
Best for iPhone users: Apple Watch Series 10
Why we like it: “My customers swear with their Apple watches because they are reliable and perform well and look good on their wrists,” Schofield said. Personally, while I don’t wear an Apple Watch every day, I do like to throw it away before running or working out to track my fitness accurately. The Series 10 has longer battery life than other generations, sleep tracking capabilities, and other health metrics related to heart health. As a runner, I like the PACER feature, which allows you to see if you are ahead or behind the target pace, and in addition, I love programming running workouts on my watch. I don’t think there is any other smartwatch interface that compares the susceptibility of the Apple Watch, which makes the experience of using this device a lot more enjoyable.
Best for beginners: Fitbit Charge 6 Fitness Tracker
Why we like it: “I would say that for most people, Fitbit will be your device of choice,” Schofield said. “This is one of the cheapest options on the market, it is durable and reliable.” In particular, the Fitbit Charge 6 is a comprehensive fitness tracker for a range of goals. The minimalist band features sleep tracking, VO2MAX display, smart tracking (automatically detecting your workouts), and stress management monitoring, and a long list of other health and fitness features. Plus, the price is $159, which is more accessible than many other trackers.
