La DoubleJ, Mom, and Net-a-Porter Brought The Golden State Cool to Paris Style Week – Asia-Pacific Newsweek

With the clouds of Paris, the California sunshine passes through a new and lively partnership between La DoubleJ and her mom and with the assistance of Net-A-Porter. The giant triad controls the stylish French dining venue La Fontaine Gaillon, transforming it into a dazzling center, ideally styled gathering. Thinking that La DoubleJ’s JJ Martin is currently associated with mom’s Tim Kaeding and Lela Becker, the collaboration seems to be a pure natural health. Becker actually married the kids of Martin’s mom and dad partner, when his family shared duplex at Playa del Rey before relocating to Pacific Palisdes in the 1970s. Despite La DoubleJ’s trademark largest print and smooth silk, jeans are never part of a Martin-style track. Kaeding and Becker’s informal coffee meeting changed. “They’ve actually done all the jeans and we brought all the silk, cotton and jackets,” Martin clarified. “We mixed the globe – mom had fun on our icons, prints and patterns and it turned out to be completely fresh.”

The partnership has a deeper meaning after both brands touch on typical challenges – just last month their side-by-side store encountered a catastrophic Los Angeles fire in Pacific Palisades. “We went through something that was really challenging for each other,” Martin said. “But that’s what makes this collaboration even more important – through all of this, sustaining each other.”

Despite this, the mentality of the whole occasion was simply bleak. The style group is excited and will be remembered by everyone. Editors, developers and industry experts fill the room, DJ Mary Charteris’s song dance. Martin and many visitors used the work in the new collection, a timeline of antique designs with red, orange and blue needlework. “After years of modeling, I’m so grateful that I ended up using denim in the pantry,” Martin admits. “I told a guy a few years ago that I got my initial suit.”
