Since introducing the Paris Fashion Week calendar in 2019, Homme Plissé has become the most popular of nine brands produced by Issey Miyake’s design studio in Japan.
Now, the Japanese company announced that Plissé will always be on the road, nomadic and seasonal performance. “From this year, the brand will travel the world, showcase its clothes in places and events that have never been seen before, meet local communities and connect with creative scenarios around the world,” the House said in a statement.
In June this year, the label will showcase its Spring 2026 collection on Pitti Uomo Fair in Florence as a guest designer. The introduction will be the first speech in a series of location-specific Plissé predictions, and the brand says: “It is not always defined by the season: they are all ones related to their context, location and audience.”
Issey Miyake Homme Plissé was founded in 2013 and is a men’s clothing brother brand launched in 1994.
