The collection for spring 2026 is hardly going on, but we already know it will be a season that is unique. After feeling like timeless craze and craze, now is the moment for these freshly appointed creative directors to form their own stuff. In a month, we will see the debut of 15 different labels. Who are the designers behind these brands? How will they reshape fashion? Why do you care?
Welcome to the big reshuffle, Vogue Runway Global Director Nicole Phelps broke down the main players of the season and provided a guide to the season with the help of editors Laia Garcia-Furtado and José Criales-Unzueta, and a special dispatch from Stylenotcom’s Beka Gvishiani.
First, Criales-Unzueta reveals the reasons behind the dazzling designer swaps and asks a crucial question: Can people who are looking to change fashion again be able to do this again? Gvishiani offers his first-hand record of three debuts this summer – Jonathan Anderon’s first men’s collection at Dior, Michael Rider’s men’s (but the same name) collection at Celine and Glenn Martens’s Couture Collection for Maison Margiela Artisanal. Finally, Garcia-Furtado shares some predictions about how all these switches will actually affect the way we dress. Why do Americans prepare for one thing again? Will skinny jeans really come back? Which designer is most likely to change the appearance now? Adjust below to find out.
