I have different memories of trying to recreate some of these looks during middle school and high school – I bought a plaid shirt and thought I was driving Liv Taylor’s skirt (and did do it). no). Today, my view of fashion hasn’t changed much – 30 years later, the style in the movie still resonates. (This is a costume designed by Susan Lyall.) I still find myself re-watching the movie and trying to imitate what Empire Records The crew was well reflected. I think the key is their relaxed look. None of the costumes of these characters look too intentional or free-ride. It seems like they just rolled off the bed and were dressed in darkness, but somehow, it was still an atmosphere. No one wants to look like you’ve tried when you’re dressing, especially if you’re going to stumble, this movie captures the movie perfectly.

Even today, some of my recent wardrobe works obviously still nodded Empire record. My R13 plaid shirt with faux sweater collars was just begging to wear in the record store while I ignored the register and chewed on the gum. Designers feel this aesthetic too: Just check out the fall collection of Collina Strada or Coach, it’s all about the fashion of teenagers’ dreams. It seems that fashion labels will always stick to Empire RecordsWonderful fashion, and the decade it has begun. One day, I hope to go back to the record store to browse, maybe, maybe someone mistakenly thinks I’m a cool guy working there. One can dream.
